It is a great pleasure for me to personally greet you on the pages of the website of our community.
As the mayor of one of the most dynamically developing settlements of the West Balaton region, I am always fascinated by the blessed treasures of our environment, which I would like to draw your and your family's attention to.

Gyenesdiás is situated on the Zala County shore of Lake Balaton, in the embrace of the Keszthely Hills, only 2 km from Keszthely and 7 km from the world-famous thermal spa of Hévíz. Thanks to its great location, splendid climate, the playing beach of Diás and the lido of Gyenes our village is an ideal destination for all age groups with its rich programs, varied attractions and traditional hospitality. Our immediate environment boasts great vistas lined with ancient volcanic hills, refreshing thermal and medicinal spas, hiking paths and bicycle roads, which connect the most spectacular points of the 'Lake Balaton Riviera' and invite you for endless walks and tours. But we must not forget to mention the tasty wines grown on the sunlit slopes and matured in our cool cellars and the wide range of gastronomic adventures that will further enrich the moments of your holiday, either.
